For over a decade, Librarika has been committed to making library management accessible to everyone. Today, we proudly serve thousands of libraries across the globe — and we continue to offer a free plan so that every school, community center, and small organization can build and manage their own library at no cost. That commitment is not changing.
To keep Librarika sustainable for the long term and to continue investing in the features, reliability, and support that our community depends on, we are adjusting the record limits on our paid subscription plans. These changes allow us to maintain a quality service for all users while continuing to offer one of the most generous free tiers in the industry.
We deeply value the trust our existing subscribers have placed in us. That is why all currently active paid subscribers will continue to enjoy their existing limits — no surprises, no disruptions.
What's Changing
Effective May 1, 2026, new subscriptions will be subject to updated record limits:
| Plan | Current Limit | New Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Basic (Free) | 2,000 | 2,000 (no change) |
| Basic Pro | 10,000 | 5,000 |
| Silver | 20,000 | 10,000 |
| Gold | 30,000 | 15,000 |
| Platinum | 50,000 | 30,000 |
How This Affects You
Existing paid subscribers: If you are currently on an active paid plan, your existing record limit will remain unchanged for as long as your subscription stays active. You do not need to take any action. Your library will continue to operate under the limits that were in effect at the time of your subscription.
New subscribers: Libraries subscribing to a paid plan on or after May 1, 2026 will be subject to the updated limits shown above.
Please note: If an existing subscription is cancelled and later re-subscribed, the new subscription will be subject to the updated plan limits effective at the time of re-subscription.
No Data Will Be Removed
These changes apply only to future record additions. No existing catalog records, member data, or circulation history will be deleted or affected in any way. Libraries that currently exceed the new limits will retain all their existing data.
Your Support Matters
Librarika has always been a community-driven platform. Every subscription helps us keep the lights on, maintain our free tier for thousands of libraries, and continue developing new features. We kindly ask for your understanding and continued support as we make these adjustments to serve you better for many more years to come.
If you have any questions or concerns, we'd love to hear from you at contact us page. We're always happy to help.
